Alexis was very excited to start her first day of Kindergarten! What a big girl. She was a little nervous about having a new class and a new teacher, but when we got there she was ready for me and Micah to leave! The only thing that was frustrating is that we had to wait outside to for about 30 min. to take them inside to their classroom. Didn't anyone inform the school that it is really hot and we live in Arizona? (since it is already well above 90 degrees before 8 in the morning) We almost melted! I am sure it will get easier to drop off and pick up as the school year goes on, first days are always mayhem.

Alexis is enjoying chocolate chip cookies and milk after school. She really is happy, even though she is making that face. :) She was as red as a beet from standing outside to wait for me to pick her up (that also took along time). She said she had a great day and she really loves her teacher. Did I mention she is in full day Kindergarten? Yay!

5 is so big, isn't it? Alexis is so close in age with my Annelise. They're just growing too fast! What a doll Alexis is! Happy 1st day of Kindergarten!
