Well, I finally saw The Dark Knight. Just like everybody else in the world, I absolutely love it. Especially Heath Ledger's performance! It makes me sad that he is gone because he was so talented! I have been a fan of Heath Ledger and I have always been a fan of the Batman movies. The only thing that truly disturbed me is that people brought kids that were about the same age as Micah and Alexis. Those poor kids were scared to death. I was scared of The Joker and I am a full-grown adult! I really felt for them, every time he came on the screen they started to cry. Why do people put there kids through such torture? The movie is not for young kids! There are movie ratings for a reason. I remember when I was a kid and all the scary things that kept me up at night (and most of the things I made up in my own mind.) I am very grateful that I didn't have Heath Ledger's portrayal of The Joker to have nightmares about! I really wish people would use more discretion when selecting movies for little impressionable minds that can't tell the difference between reality and hollywood. But, despite all my rantings on parenting, I really enjoyed the movie and highly recommend it!

AMEN! I thought it was great and it was so COOL to watch Heath Ledger. It was so saddening, too though.
I certainly wouldn't have brought young kids. I don't know what people are thinking sometimes!
