We slept in the back of the car. Here you can see how cozy we were. However, we did determine that a 6' 2" person does not fit. It was cold, but we kept warm.

The next morning, Micah was back to his favorite activity... finding sticks. He does this even in our backyard, so being in a place filled with sticks of all sizes and shapes was near heaven. He liked this stick the most. But what is camping without a good walking stick?

This is the picture of a 'city-boy' taken to the forest and turned into a wilderness survivor. He's still cute.

We left early, since we found out that breakfast would not be served and we didn't bring anything. It was a beautiful day and the drive was a refreshing change in scenery from the dirt and cactus that surround us at home. (written by Steven)
Alexis and I had a "girls night out", well sort of. She had a stomach bug the night before and wasn't feeling very well so I fixed her hair how she wanted, painted her toenails and fingernails, let her pick out her dinner (eggos and syrup) and a quick trip to the Disney Store so she could pick out whatever she wanted (within reason). She was so tired from being sick and going out she was in bed by 7. We had a fun time anyway!

I love how Micah is SMILING at every single stage of his life pictured to the right...that's the boy I know! Happy Birthdays to Micah and Steven this month!
Nice touch on the drive home photo as well, "Written by Steven"...forced me to go back and re-read it with a different voice narrating in my head! LOL
