Tribute Dance Competition

2 weeks ago she had her first dance competition in Illinois! It has been a big transition from going from her last smaller dance studio to this very big one. It's a bit overwhelming for both of us! She had to get new warm ups and makeup case (which she loves). Her choreography is more technical and so is the hair and makeup, but we both made it through. :p
We have to rhinestone their head! haha It really looked cool on stage. She is a perfect little model. :)
She starts out their dance as the first person on stage and has a solo part, she was very nervous but she did an amazing job! We had lots of time between call time and when she actually performed so I had lots of time to take pictures. :)

These are just a few of the dancers that are in her number Party Time. Lots of the girls are in hip-hop has well, so they were competing with other numbers. The Xtreme studio had 29 numbers and they all placed really well. Woo hoo!
Stage!
Pep talk from Sam, the studio director.
Micah and Steven came to watch her perform and then left after. It was about an hour south of where we live, but we were there all day and they would have never lasted. haha She was very happy they came to watch.
Alexis and I got there at 9 am and finally left at 8:15 p.m. I had such a bad cold and it was a rough day but I was so proud of her. She missing the girls from AZ and I was missing the Moms, but we have met some nice people. Below here we are at the end of the night right before awards. I look less exhausted in black and white. haha :) She won a 1st place award for their category and a 4th place award overall in their division. We have another one coming up next weekend!
