Alexis was in 3 performances for her dance recital. There were lots of practices and rehearsals to get ready for this and I was so happy it turned out so nice! It was an outdoor performance and there weren't very many numbers so it was a mad dash to get her changed in time for the next dance. I was stressed! She did such a good job, I wish I had better pictures of the performances and I forgot to get the pictures of my Mom's camera. When I get more I will post some. It was nice that the grandparents were able to see her dance, since none of them have seen her perform.
Her first dance was my favorite. I loved the costume, it reminded me so much of the Nutcracker.
Acro-gymnastics
The mini-company dance was so cute. They got to wear Chipettes pj's and it was perfect because it was pretty cold for Arizona that night.

Alexis got to meet Mikala Skinner and get her autograph, she is on the National Junior Olympic Gymnastic team. She was a special guest performer at the recital and it was very cool.

I recently found this picture and thought it would be fun to compare. This was 6 years ago for her first Christmas dance recital when she was 2. She is still dancing and loving it! This was how she smiled for every picture, so funny. You can also see how much older and tired I look now, sad.
