We ended up going to a resort up in Northern Phoenix for Memorial Day. It was hot, crowded, and the kids didn't sleep well, at all! They loved the water park that is right next to the hotel, so I guess it was a sucessful-ish trip. The summer has started and I feel like it's going to be a long one...

Oh Allison, I feel your pain about the heat. It is hot here already too. Also, I just wanted to say that I'm glad my lil' guy isn't the only one who doesn't sleep well in hotels. I hear about fun family vacations and all I can think about is how sleepless every night would be for me. Glad your mini-vaca was semi-successful with the water park! :)
That place looks way fun! I bet it was hard w/the kids, any where out of home they are little rascals! That is why they are so cute, so even when they are bad it makes it hard to resist those adorable faces!
I agree memorial day was a perfect day for swimming. We went to a waterpark too. Your kids look like great swimmers!
