Happy Birthday Alexis!

Ok, get ready for lots of pictures of Alexis' 6th birthday! She had a great day and she has been waiting for this day and counting down on the calendar for a very long time!
and opening presents.
These are my attempts to be crafty. Alexis helped me paint the flower pot and we had flower pot (vanilla) cupcakes and a sunflower (strawberry) cake. It was hot when I was making these, so the frosting melted and so it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but it worked. Did you know it is still like 111 degrees here? Yeah, that it will make it melt. :)

This year we went to the Creative Hands Studio. Alexis LOVES to draw, color and paint, so we thought this would be fun. All the kids got to pick out a ceramic piece and paint it. They will be glossed and fired and all finished in one week.
All their masterpieces.
Opening presents.
L-R Micah, Bohdie, Carter, Byron, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Aubree, Alexis, Lily & Alex
We ended off the night by going to Outback Steakhouse. How could you ask for a better birthday? :) We have been thinking about all the parties we have had for her since we moved here. This girl has had some fun parties. Like her 4th birthday at Build-A-Bear and her 5th birthday at the swim school. Oh my, what are we going to do next year?...oh well, Happy Birthday Sweetie! :)
