Music? Yes, please.

Ok, so I am a music lover/junkie/aficionado. (Steven said aficiondo sounds very global) I am ALWAYS looking for new music or bands and spend a lot of time updating my iTunes. My friend Keli Noorda Clayton suggested that I do a song a week. She was also so nice to tell me that she likes my playlist, which is a really, really awesome compliment for me! You are a sweetheart Keli.

So I will pick a new song a week and I might write a little something about where I found it and why I like it. (if you are lucky) ;) You should also check out my friend Lindsey's blog.  She has an awesome taste in music and I am always listening to her playlist.

I hope you like my choices or at least tolerate them, but I am warning you that I will not have any American Idol contestants  on here! You will have to go somewhere else for that. :)

The song this week is Skip Divided by Thom Yorke. Thom is the lead singer for Radiohead, which means he is really, really good. Of course, you either love Radiohead, or you hate it. I found this song on the Twitter music site and snatched it up. I love his voice with all the electric beats.  Enjoy.

You can't go wrong with anything Thom Yorke. I love him.

What a fun idea you're doing! I'm excited to hear the things you choose.

Aww, thanks for the sweet shout out. You're awesome. Sorry it's taken me so long to comment, I've been kinda out of it with returning from vacation and whatnot. Still loving your playlist. And good job on the song a week. I'll look forward to it each week. I bet I told 10 people to check out your blog because they would love the music and your pictures. Hope you don't mind. ;)

So I came across your site from Miss Keli Clayton and I will have to reward her greatly. Understanding that this may come across creepy or weird - but is it possible to have a musical soulmate? Looking through your playlist I was amazed at how simillar our tastes are. Where can you find Vampire Weekend, Matisyahu, Dave Mstthews, Incubus, and even Jem in the same place. I am in heaven!! If you aren't already familiar with her may I recommend Charlotte Martin? My absolute favorite female vocalist (maybe Tori and Fiona aside) with the awesome rhythm and syncopation you would find with someone like radiohead. Anywho - I will be tuning in from now on!!

I am glad you like it Kelley Rae, leave feedback if you would like about what songs you like and what you don't. I haven't heard of Charlotte Martin, but I will be checking her out. Thanks! :)
