St. Patrick's Day/Spring Break

First of all, I think the term Spring Break should be dissolved after you have kids. There is no break involved when the kids are home for 5 days straight! Arizona gives way too much time off. Luckily, we were able to put Alexis in Spring Break camp at the community center during the afternoons and she had a full day of dance camp on Wednesday. She loved having things to do. We couldn't find anything for kids 4 and under so Micah got to hang out with me. We went to the park and to the gym and he went to a party at a farm this morning and that was definitely the highlight. I also braved the mall to get Easter pictures done. That is a whole other story that I will post later.

I also wanted to thank everybody for all the nice comments and phone calls. It means a lot to me. I am starting to feel better.
Alexis and Micah with their lucky bear on St. Patty's day.
We made cookies and drank green milk to celebrate the Irish. (place mat made by Steven)
Micah and me hanging out at home.
Alexis won a 2nd place ribbon and a medal at her dance camp. They performed "It's the Hard Knock Life" from Annie. It was really cute.
Micah at the farm. He really loves animals.

I'm coming over from Mormon Mommy Blogs, asking for your help. I am in the running for a round trip airfare paid ticket to Connecticut, to meet a friend I became acquainted with through blogging. She is a super fun person and is holding this contest. I entered a funny story titled "Grapejuice Floaties, Now Marry Me." The person whose story receives the most votes will win a trip to meet this generous lady, whom I'm hoping to meet. The voting ends Sunday evening. I am ahead for now but there is a story coming up from behind out of nowhere and I would so, so, appreciate your help. Her blog is www.becausemomsaidso.blogspot.com and the voting is on the sidebar on the right. "Grapejuice, Floaties" Just go there and cast a vote for me, please. Thanks so much-you're awesome! ♥♥
