This week Alexis is the star student in her kindergarten class. She has been waiting for this week since school began! All of the kids have a designated week, but because of the lovely W last name, she has waited for a long time! I have to say that I am so proud of Alexis. She is in the AR (Advanced Reading) program at school and she has been reading 2nd and 3rd grade level books. She is such a good student and she loves school a lot. Sometimes I sit back and and it just amazes me at how smart she is. She was born that way. I am waiting for her to be in charge of the world one day. Really. A couple funny things she has said recently :
"Mommy, you look like you need to go on a vacation. You should go to China for 4 months...then you could fly a kite or buy toys."
"Because I am the star student at school they were asking me a bunch of questions like what is your favorite shape and what is your favorite shark, I said a heart and a hammerhead, of course."
We love our sweetie.

That is too funny! It's so nice to have a child who is "advanced". I'm lucky with Jaden that way, too. He is above grade level in everything and it's awesome! Way to go Mother Al!
