We signed Micah up for soccer this year, I thought he would love it because he loves to run around and kick things. We had his first practice last night and he did pretty well. Micah was very excited for his first soccer game today. Look how cute he looks!
Alexis was ready to cheer him on, and she was also very upset at us for not signing her up, maybe next year.
I am an official soccer mom now. Oh my...
Micah (#3) with his team (The Dragons and Coach Vinnie) when he was still in good spirits. He was one of the first ones to go out there and he started to play the game and then...he STOPPED. He decided he didn't want to play anymore about 45 seconds into the game. Nothing we could say to him could get him to try again. He was the only one on the team that pouted and sulked the whole time. I think he was just frustrated that he couldn't kick the ball first, I don't know. When the game was finally over he started to cry because he said he wanted to play! Disaster! I hope that he gets better as the season goes on. We still have 2 more months...

Aw, how sweet/sad is that? This will be one of those stories you all laugh about years from now. I hope it gets better for him and also for the new soccer mom ;)
haha He is funny!! I don't blame him I would wanna kick the ball first too!jk I love little kid sports, they're hilarious! I bet it will get better! He'll be a pro by the end of the season!!
Ok, you have to admit that it's kind of funny that he decided he didn't want to play anymore and he just sat there! Probably not so funny to a mom, but it's very laughable! What a silly boy!
