We were able to travel to Portland, Oregon for my birthday. I chose Portland because it was on the coast and sooo much cooler than AZ. We had a great 4 days in the city.

Powell's Books is the biggest bookstore in the whole wide world! We had to check it out and pick up a few books.
At the Doug Fir, a restaurant with the best milkshakes and live music in the basement. A pretty groovy place.

I'm totally envious that you were able to get away for your birthday and enjoy! Trying to squeeze a date night into our lives is close to impossible and 4 kids later we're still holding out for a honeymoon!
See you with the Pina Colada reminded me of those ice creams we use to get at that Hippo place is dirty Charleroi! I'm pretty sure that crap is still etched on my rear end!

Fun for you! I love Portland and used to date a guy who lives there. Powell's is amazing! I'm glad you got a good 4 day vacation.

It was a great time, and I agree Powell's was awesome! I definitely remember the Hippo place in Chaleroi, that is why I gained like 30 pounds!
