Utah/Idaho aka Four Weddings and a Funeral

The kids spent a total of 5 weeks in Utah plus one quick trip to Idaho.  They stayed with my parents while I was in S. Africa and Steven was at work, and then I stayed in Utah for another 2 1/2 weeks.  They had a lot of fun at Grandma and Papas.  We all were together for one week somewhere in the middle.  They attended 4 wedding receptions and unfortunately Steven's grandpa passed away while we there.  The kids were able to see lots of family during our stay.

They loved to play the piano, and Alexis even had a few lessons with Grandma.
Playing in the sprinklers (I love how all these pictures make them look like best friends, although if you know them you know that is not the case!)
Dressing up in some of my old Halloween costumes.
Another trip to the Dinosaur museum. Notice their hair! Alexis and Micah got a hold of the scissors while I was gone and cut their own hair! I was not happy.
I was able to get together with a few friends when I was in SLC.  Eric lives in New York, Adrienne in Idaho.  It was a miracle we were all in Utah at the same time! It was a great reunion.
Eric is starting a in a new play on Broadway! A Tale of Two Cities the Musical is opening in September.  I am so proud of him! Love you Eric!
Steven put together the new bunk bed at Grandma and Papas.  Thanks to IKEA, we had much better sleeping arrangements!
Ready for church.
Alexis and Micah playing on the tire swing in Blackfoot, Idaho.  We rented a car (and we got upgraded to a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder, but thanks to gas prices it ended up not being a great deal) and drove up to see Adrienne and family.  It was a fun 2 days and the kids were obsessed with their dog Meatloaf.  Thanks Ade, you know I needed to come to BF and hang out!
One thing they loved to do was play outside!  We are officially back in Arizona and stuck inside because it is sooooo hot!

I was in Blackfoot, ID Karmen. Is that close to Burley? I didn't see it as I was driving! I would have stopped by if it was. :)

It's not close to Burley...it's not close to much of anything LOL!! I'm so glad you came even though I don't have much to offer in the way of sight seeing here in BF.
Anyway, I wish that the kids would have tried on the circus tent costume! AND I'm sorry again about A's hair. I hope you don't DIE in the AZ heat. Come again asap.
