All in green

I can't believe how close St. Patrick's Day and Easter are this year! It was very fitting for the kids to get a lucky bear and an easter bunny on this last trip to Build-a-Bear.  I now think we have enough stuffed bears for a small country!
Steven surprised me and brought home some carnations for St Patty's Day and also because he proposed 8 years ago today. (I forgot this fact until he reminded me with the card he included, I really thought it was just to celebrate the holiday!) We had a fun green day, which included our traditional green dinner. (passed on by Grandma A)

Menu:
Green eggs and ham
Granny smith apples
Green grapes
Shamrock cookies
Green koolaid

Hope you didn't get pinched too much! :)

What a sweet hubby you have! We were in Moab for St. Patty's Day, some dude dressed as a leprechaun gave us a sticker...that was our excitement for the holiday! Thanks for checking in to my blog...it'll be fun to keep up with you and your beautiful family!

I totally agree! It just doesn't feel right to have both holidays in the same week. Especially since it is so cold here compared to Georgia.

Our Engagement Anniversary is coming up soon too! Figures since our Wedding date was so close to yours. We celebrate the day too- I mean, you just can't have too many holidays!
