A new mania

For those of you who knows us, you know that we have always been a bit "green".  We always buy energy star appliances, we recycle, fuel efficient cars are a must, and we have been using compact florescent light bulbs for YEARS!  So what is the next step?  Composting of course.  Steven was very excited to learn that we could get a composting bin from the town of Gilbert for free (instructions included).  I am not quite sure what we are going to do with compost once we make it, but I am sure we will try to grow a tree or something like that! :)
We also wanted to wish Grandma A a very Happy Birthday today! :)

Hey, every bit helps. We love those energy saver light bulbs too.

Hmmm...I'll have to check into that. We could definitely use one of those! One of my favorite "green" obsessions is recycling. Some people think I'm a little cooky but I've wanted to recycle since I was a little girl! Ha! Now when we go visit family I feel so guilty throwing away all that perfectly good "trash". What a waste! :)
