School Program!
Multi-cultural night with the Pre-K classes! Alexis had her first school program tonight. The kids have been practicing for a long time, I know this because she has been coming home and singing all the songs to me! They had a really cute program with songs about diversity and also about Martin Luther King Jr. Micah had a hard time sitting still, but he still clapped for Alexis when she was done with a song. Then we all got to eat a potluck dinner with dishes from our heritage. Since we had so many heritages to choose from, we went with french....because we are related to Claude Monet, right Mom? ;)

Of Course French! My girls have quite the cultures to choose from in our home too.... but they always seem to side with Mommy in the "French."
You're really related to Monet? That is really cool. I've been a lot of the places he painted in Paris. We should've served together!
