Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas this year and we hope you did too!  Alexis was especially excited for Christmas to come.  We don't know how long she will believe in Santa!  She is too smart for her own good.  Last night before we went to bed she said.."Wait a minute! We don't have a chimney.  How will Santa come to our house?"  We told her we would leave the back door open so he could come in that way. "No he won't!"  Oh my.  Well, this morning she told us she heard Santa's footsteps.....so we are safe for another year!

We will be seeing a lot of you soon, since we are leaving for Utah tomorrow.  We are driving this time. :( So wish us luck!
On Christmas Eve we did the Christmas story and Micah was Joseph. :)
Mary and baby Jesus.
They like to dress up, but Micah would only keep it on for a second so we could take this picture!
The kids helped make chocolate chip cookies for Santa.  We heard they were his favorite. :)
They opened their new PJ's from Grandma and Papa and the blankets that we tied for them on Christmas Eve.  Very cute!
Our tree.
Alexis with her baby doll that talks! We have been hearing about this doll for months now and we are glad that she finally has it!
Micah and his "choo"  He was very excited to play with it!

Such adorable photos! Looks like you had a great Christmas.

I'm with you on the kids being too smart to believe in Santa thing. You would've loved the conversation between all the 6 year olds at Mickayla's birthday party. I loved hearing their reasoning about homes without chimneys. Last Easter the Easter bunny came while we were at church & I seriously saw the doubt in Mickayla's eyes. How long do they believe anyway?
