We were able to join Steven in Tucson for 2 nights this week. While Steven was working, me and the kids went to the Tucson Zoo, played at the playground, went to lunch and when he got off we all went swimming. This trip wasn't quite like the California trip, but it was an adventure none the less! Instead of going from the desert to the beach, we went from desert to more desert. I will have to say that I was happy to come back to Gilbert! :)
I thought that going to the zoo would take up half the day, but we went through the whole thing in half an hour! It was a very small zoo. The kids loved seeing all the animals that were there anyway and so we went through it again so it made the total time at the zoo...1 hour. :)

Looks like so much fun! I have a roommate that had her baby last week & named him Tucson!
I'm not sure I ever knew you lived in Gilbert! I have a ton of cousins from there. It's a small world so I have to ask. Do you know any Ricks Families? I visited them in Gilbert once & I really liked the area. (Well, I visited in April- not midsummer). It seemed too that there was a fair amount of members there. How do you like it?
I love your spooky blog. Halloween is so great, and your kids are so cute. Your little girl looks like you--right? I've never read Love in the Time of Cholera, but my husband is a big fan.
